Rosalinde This is probably the rarest doll in my collection.  She is a whopping 36" tall. All original ,except for the replaced feathers on her turban.  Signed "Rosalinde" on the sole of her slipper. It is not known where these dolls come from. My guess is a small doll company maybe from France . Faces are chalk covered with hand painted silk They have inset lashes and side glancing eyes. Costumes are very elaborate and lavish. My Rosalinde has orange silk pantaloons and silver metallic costume trimmed with ostrich feathers and pearls. Her hands are chalk. Her body is linen and she has breasts with nippels. She has very elongated arms and legs.  She is in amazing condition!
